Dear Tigerfam
Another month has passed quickly. October seems quieter than usual because of the market sentiment and also lots of work behind the scenes at TigerChi. We are going to share with you a few plans we made for the near future.
1. CHI Token Launch
After some preparation, now we are ready to launch our token. We initially wanted to build a discord bot for tipping and a website for raffle; however, things happened unexpectedly to our devs so we paused the plan for the moment. We will be using Rafflebees for our raffles after the token launch and we are actively seeking opportunities to work with other ecosystem partners.
For the token launch, the plan is as follows:
CHI token drop plan
Initial Drop
V1 TigerChi
- Each Tiger = 15 CHI
V2 Wushu TigerChi
- GM = 10 CHI
- For Warrior & Master: 1 overall rank score = 1 CHI
- For most warriors (default overall ranking), you will get 5 CHI
For Special collection holders
- Each NFT = 5 CHI including multi mint
For Apprentice Tiger Holders
- Each NFT = 3 CHI
Please note, our initial drop of tokens quantity is higher than weekly staking program which is outlined as below:
On-going staking program: (for unlisted NFTs)
- v1 Tiger: 10 CHI/Weekly
- v2 Tiger: 5 CHI/Weekly
- Special Tiger: 3 CHI/Weekly
- Apprentice: 2 CHI/Weekly
On-going extra token drop plan:
When you earn overall ranking points, you earn CHI accordingly
Token Utility:
- Enter raffles
- Swapping for new collection NFTs or customised NFTs
- Swapping for merch
We are actively working with partners to offer more utility for our token and NFTs.

2. Worldcup football TigerChi
We will release a collection in celebration of the World Cup, which is a major event for both football fans and Algorand! TCC wants to share exciting moments with our community and people outside of Algorand. The football collection will serve this multi collaboration effort.
Currently we are considering a free drop to our active community members, swapping extra using our CHI tokens etc. We will share more details when dates are closer.
3. Extension of V2 phase 1
Initially we wanted to complete V2 phase 1 by Dec 1st. Due to all the new plans we outlined (especially the preparation of the Football Tigerchi collection), it is not possible to complete the original plan as scheduled. Therefore, we propose the following new dates:
- Phase 1 will be extended to Feb 1st, 2023
- Phase 2 for Top 3 Tigers to April 1st, 2023
The new timeframe will give our artist enough time to finish the high quality artwork.
4. Pause on upgrading for Grandmasters and Masters
Due to the tight schedule for World cup collection, we would pause upgrading to Grandmaster and Masters for the next two weeks. The activity will resume once we complete the Football collection.
